I know I haven’t made a post on here in AGES and I’m sorry.
Truth is I’ve been busy with my VA business but I came across a video today that well…..really affected me.
It’s not a sales video or anything like that but it’s an inspirational tale of one mans struggle against being told by the experts that he cannot do something……but he proved them all wrong 🙂
It’s a testament to the power of the human spirit at its very best and I happen to think it’s the best thing I’ve seen all year….it moved me to tears and that takes a lot I can tell you.
If you do only one thing today give this short video a look in.
Talk soon x
There was I sprawled out on the sofa of my old childhood home having a quick power nap (something I enjoy quite a lot) with not a care in the world and in walked my late father beaming from ear to ear, arms outstretched & motioning to me for a hug.
This was quite surprising really as he wasn’t given to frequent grand gestures of emotion when he was alive which I suppose made them all that more special when he did demonstrate them 🙂
So I was in the middle of my (cough) manly hug with my dad when I heard a knocking at the door. I opened the door to find a beautiful young Indian woman smiling back at me.
It was at this point that I noticed I was wearing nought but a thin duvet cover worn off the shoulder a-la-Greek God style ( I wish) and the Indian lady began to talk to me.
Now for the naughty minded of you out there I’m sorry to disappoint but the dream didn’t go in the direction you’re probably thinking even though it does sound like a scene from a bad porn movie…erm…I’d imagine 😉
No, she clocked me wearing the duvet cover and proceeded to tell me about a Sari party she was holding next door and would I like to attend. I was about to answer when all of a sudden there was a terrible ruckus outside my front gate which distracted me.
A small boy with a terrified look on his face was banging at the gate and asking for help, he explained that he was being chased by…wait for it…a giant potato!
I told the boy to calm down and then looked to my left to see …well, a giant potato running up the path with an angry expression on it’s erm..face.
I stepped in between the boy and the potato and called for calm so we could sort this out. At this point I produced a potato peeler from my pocket and waved it in front of the irate spud in a threatening manner in order to quell the disruption and assert my authority.
The potato proceeded to explain how the boy had been teasing him mercilessly and as he continued to explain I soon decided that he had indeed been cruelly victimised by the boy.
At this point the potato burst into tears and I comforted him. My father and I carried him into our garden where we lay him down on a nice green bed of grass and left him to rest with a promise to come back and councel him some more.
There the dream ended and I awoke and sat bolt upright with a loud exclamation of “What the F*&@k was that all about”.
So…what the hell WAS that about? why have I regaled you on my blog with a story about my (worrying) unconscious mental processes? and what the heck has it got to do with Internet marketing and making money from home?
Well to be honest, I just wanted to write about something else than making money online in an attempt to amuse and divert you dear reader.
I did start this blog waaaay back in 2007 with the intention of documenting my progress of starting up a home business and earning a full time living from home and it was my intention to show you how I did it so you could possibly follow in my footsteps.
Well here’s the thing…..now that I’ve been somewhat successful with that experiment and I now DO work full time from home, I just want to vary the content of this blog. You see talking about making money all the time is booooring!
Personally I think there’s nothing more soulless than banging on about making money all the time and I love to read blogs authored by my contemporaries in the field of Internet Marketing that have an all round theme NOT ones which just go on about the latest greatest software tool or make money or save money scheme.
This is why the subheading of my blog says….
Life, Making Money From Home, VA Services, Top Advice From An Honest, Ethical Marketer & Well . . . . Just A Bloody Nice Chap!
I’m so much more than my job and making money is just a small part of my life – an important part yes because it pays my bills but it isn’t the be all and end all of Eddy Rush!
So, there you have it.
To balance this craziness out I promise that my next blog post WILL veer more towards the subject of making money and I plan to tell you what I’ve been doing in these past months since my last blog post way back in July…sorry I’ve been so quiet.
Anyway, to finish off on the subject of crazy dreams, here’s a clip of one of my all time favourite TV shows: Father Ted.
Enjoy and…sweet dreams!
Okay, firstly apologies for that rather crude title but it really does sum up what I want to say in this post.
Remember when you were a small child and your parents did everything for you?
Cooked your meals and fed you
Attended to your every whim
And literally wiped your botty
Well there comes a time in life when eventually you have to learn to do all these things for yourself, it’s part of growing up and learning to become independent so that you can survive in the real world.
You can also see examples of this in the animal kingdom and I always remember a particular wildlife documentary about tiger cubs where the mother provided everything for the cubs for the first few weeks but then after the initial period of providing food and showing them the ropes, the cubs were left to fend for themselves ….and they managed it quite well to be honest.
Humans on the other hand often have great difficulty in letting go and cutting those apron strings. They can really struggle with the concept of independent thought, thinking for themselves and using their own brains to solve problems.
I’ve seen examples of this all through my working life, I’m even guilty of this myself…after all it’s much easier to just ask someone to solve a problem for you than try to sort it out yourself isn’t it.
But the problem is that it doesn’t teach you how to become independent and self reliant and these qualities should be encouraged as much as possible.
I will always be eternally grateful to my girlfriend Amanda for the way she taught me to find my own solutions to problems.
Amanda and I worked together a couple of years ago for a local newspaper, she was in a management role and I was under her supervision. Obviously due to the fact that we were also romantically involved made for quite a complicated working relationship and presented various challenges for us.
However, it also gave me a great insight into the daily problems she faced as a manager.
Quite often in the workplace there is an ‘us and them’ mentality expressed by the workforce but my experience helped me to see that the management are simply people trying to do a job.
As it happens, Amanda was a very popular supervisor due to the fact that she was always approachable and went that extra mile to help people out. Unfortunately this also became the bane of her working life because people came to depend on her and lean on her a little too much.
So I took it upon myself to try and help the situation and became a sort of fountain of knowledge among my co-workers, helping them out as much as I could.
Obviously I was motivated to do this because I saw how they were treating the woman I loved and I wanted to help the situation if I could.
Before you knew it I very quickly became the person that people went to if they had a problem, quite often I was staggered by the sheer laziness of some of my co-workers who had access to the exact same resources that I had yet couldn’t be bothered to figure out things for themselves.
Conversely, there were others among my workmates who just got on with things and found their own solutions and these were the people I admired. You could give them the initial information and instructions of how to get the job done and any other difficulties that arose they would solve themselves…and only ask for help as a last resort.
I love people like this, they are the winners, the ones who never give up and will always try to seek out a positive solution.
It’s the same with internet marketing.
Obviously in my role as a VA handling several different support desks I come across all types of attitudes and mentalities.
There are those who will just run with the information given and try to solve their own problems by thinking outside the box and seeking further knowledge from other resources.
Then there are the ones who need constant hand holding at every step of the way and throw their hands up in despair when things don’t work out for them straight away. These people will never be successful and just give up far too easily.
Don’t get me wrong, I know how hard it is to make it online.
To start with you have to find your way through the shark infested waters avoiding all the scam artists and con men out there just trying to part you from your hard earned cash.
Then when you DO find someone genuine who tells it how it really is, you realise that you have to work at this stuff, it’s NOT going to happen overnight and you will face stumbling blocks.
Finding something that really works though is half the battle and this is one of the main reasons why I started this blog – to show you what can work online.
So that’s my part of the bargain, I can promise you if you become a regular subscriber of mine I WILL show you what works and I’ll help you avoid all the bullshitters online.
Then it’s up to YOU to fulfill YOUR side of the bargain and be determined to make it work for you.
Basically, I’ll teach you how to wipe your own botty (metaphorically speaking of course) …..then you have to do it yourself 🙂
I know it’s been a long time coming but I did promise a few posts ago that I would find a good product and review it for you.
Well I’m pleased to say that I have now done this, just goes to show that apart from all the dross that’s being unleashed onto the market lately there are still some excellent products out there if you know where to look.
If you don’t know where to look then you need a copy of my free report ‘Newbies Beware’. (click to get your copy)
Anyway, back to the product review and I’m pleased to announce that one of my favourite marketers John Thornhill has come up with a cracking little mentoring course.

Let me ask you a question…do you fall into any of these categories?
* Hopeless dreamers
* Gullible fools
* Greenhorn newbies
* Realistic go-getters
I’d like to talk about each category in turn, but first let me explain what has prompted this post.
As you know if you’ve been following this blog for any length of time, one of my income streams involves Virtual Assistant work manning the support desks for various clients.
Now I really enjoy this work and working from home doing this kind of service has been one of my all time dreams…I absolutely love the freedom of being able to work when, where and how I want but some elements of this job do get me down from time to time.
Let me explain…
Obviously being in this business you do get to know people and I get a lot of feedback from them on their various online adventures. They tell me about their hopes and dreams, what they’d like to achieve online and also, sadly, I get to hear about how they’ve been burned in the past.
Now please don’t get me wrong, my heart goes out to anyone who has fallen foul of a scam or wasted money on hopeless money making systems that are never going to work, but there is a lesson to be learned here.
SCAMMERS AND CRAP PRODUCT SUPPLIERS CAN ONLY THRIVE IF WE FEED THEM!!
So people it’s time to start wising up and being more careful about what you purchase online. But not only that, it’s time to grow up as well and stop buying into these ridiculous income claims and promises of push button systems – IT’S A BUNCH OF CRAP!!
Don’t get me wrong, not all systems for sale online are rubbish, there are some excellent ones out there, I’ve purchased quite a few which have helped me get to where I am today earning a comfortable living working from home.
It can be hard to distinguish the good ones from the bad ones because unfortunately the sales pages share some common elements which may make them seem all the same – but they are not.
It’s not a simple matter of black and white and even the legitimate marketers use the same sales tactics as the dodgy ones, that just goes with the territory I’m afraid and is the nature of sales and advertising all over the marketplace, not just online.
I mean think of the last time you saw an advert on the TV for something like a new car for example. The advertisers have to make the ad look sexy in order to sell the damn thing so what we get is pictures of open roads, happy families, beautiful men and women, thrilling action sequences etc. etc. you know the drill.
The reality about driving of course is the endless traffic jams, fuel costs, road tax etc. etc. y’know, all the real life nitty gritty stuff that comes with car ownership. Now obviously they can’t put that in the advert or it wouldn’t sell and it’s a similar thing when selling online products, you have to focus on the positive aspects of the business or system to sell it.
Nothing wrong with that, but for gods sake people please stop falling for these outrageous claims that sound too good to be true because the truth is that yes, many good IM systems can show you how to make a good income online but THE SYSTEM ITSELF WON’T DO IT FOR YOU, YOU ALSO HAVE TO PUT SOME EFFORT IN.
Now as I’ve said, it can be difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff and it does take a certain amount of time and experience before you learn what’s good and what’s not good.
If you need some help then I highly recommend you download a Free copy of my guide Newbies Beware as this will help you make more informed decisions when buying online.
Okay, now I’ve got that little rant off my chest I want to get another little rant off my chest…sorry!
Back to those categories of people I mentioned earlier…
* Gullible fools
* Hopeless dreamers
* Greenhorn newbies
* Realistic go-getter’s
GULLIBLE FOOLS – This type of person believes everything they see, hear and read without question and does not employ any critical faculties whatsoever. They are a scammers dream and make the same stupid mistakes over and over again without learning.
HOPELESS DREAMERS – Maybe have tried a couple of things online and know that it is possible to make an income but haven’t got the staying power to make it happen. Typically they will move from offer to offer in the hope that ‘this is the one that will work’ which it never does of course because they go into things with the wrong mindset.
GREENHORN NEWBIES – These are the ones I feel most sorry for because they are fair game. They know little or nothing about how making money online works and so are looking for someone to trust. Like the hopeless dreamers they know that it’s possible and that it can work but need lots of guidance and sadly will probably be burned a few times before they start to wise up.
REALISTIC GO GETTERS – These are the type of people I love. They’ve either been round the block a few times and wised up or they have good critical faculties in the first place and don’t just take things on face value. They ask pertinent and sensible questions and have a realistic approach to online business and also the ability to use their own initiative and think for themselves. They know about the scams and ‘too good to be true offers’ and are determined and willing to put the graft in to be successful.
Now obviously, those four character traits are again a little bit of a generalisation because you can’t really pigeon hole people that way – each of us are far more complex than that.
This is just an overview of what I see in the support desks I handle every day and also various forums I belong to so I think I’m quite well qualified to make these observations.
I want to end this post on a positive note by telling you about something that happened to me just after Christmas which I think sums up everything I have just talked about concerning the human condition relating to Internet Marketing and mindset.
When the seasons festivities finish in our house, my partner Amanda and I usually have an annual house clean out ready for the year ahead. I had been ordered..erm I mean I ‘offered’ to clean out the kitchen 🙂 and when going through the cupboards I found this stuffed right at the back…
It’s a pizza tray that had somehow been thrown to the back of the cupboard probably after one of our parties last year and forgotten about.
As you can see from the picture, I made a start on cleaning it but it was bloody hard going. I tried all sorts of different abrasive scrubbers and creams but nothing would shift the baked on crud.
In the end I had to just keep scrubbing away with a steel scrubbing ball and chip it off bit by bit. Well by this time it was getting late at around 11pm, Amanda had retired to bed for the night (slacker – just kidding dearest :-)) and I was knackered after clearing cupboards out and cleaning all day so faced with this bloody pizza tray I just thought “Sod it, why am I bothering? I can just buy a new one”
And then it hit me…
This is the mentality that most people have when faced with a hard task that takes determination and effort. My lazy side kicked in to action…or should I say ‘inaction’, and I was just looking for the path of least resistance.
As soon as I realised this I got a little angry and decided that I was going to finish what I had started. After all, it’s a perfectly good pizza tray and just needs cleaning, why the hell should I just waste money on another one just because I can’t be arsed to clean this one.
So 2 hours and 10 sore fingers later I ended up with this…
Not too bad eh!
So that simple analogy of the pizza tray is exactly what is wrong with most people today – THEY DON’T FINISH WHAT THEY START!
And it’s not just rife in the Internet marketing world either, it’s all over the place. People who say they are going to stop smoking and never do, or start a fitness regime and don’t keep it up. People are moving in and out of relationships too quickly because they can’t be bothered to put the effort in to the one they have to make it work.
Whenever Amanda and I have a little …ahem…disagreement shall we say 🙂 we work through it and I often say to her to lighten the mood “You’ll go out with me until you bloody well start to enjoy it lady”
Anyway, I don’t want to turn this into a marriage guidance post and I know that not all problems can be solved in the same way but the one thing people need to start doing more is trying harder and not giving up so easily.
Look at anyone who is successful today and I guarantee they had to work hard to get there..at least at first.
So come on people, it’s time to start wising up in 2011, get stuck in and make whatever you’re doing in IM work for you.
Now as I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve come across some really great products in the last couple of months that will work for you if you put the time and effort in and I will be detailing them with a video review for each one in my future posts…so stay tuned!
Happy New Year everyone!
I know it’s a little late in the day and I’ve been a little quiet lately so I apologise for that but I do have a good excuse …which I’ll tell you about later.
I hope you all had a cracking good holiday and are all fired up for the new year ahead, I know that I certainly am and I’ve got some great things that I want to achieve for my business as well as some personal goals as well… some of which you may be able to relate to.
One of which is to lose some weight, I rather (ahem) over indulged in the food and drink department over the holiday period and forgot the fact that I can’t burn off the calories as fast as I used to in my youth, so one of my goals is to try and lose 2 stone.
I haven’t set myself a time limit and am not really following any particular faddy diet plan – don’t believe in them – I’m just making a determined effort to eat more healthily with smaller portions , drink a lot less alcohol and move my fat behind around a bit more 🙂
I’ll keep you updated on this blog and if you’re stomach can take it, I may even post some before and after pictures on here (shudders at the thought) so you (and I) can see how how far I’ve come.
My next plan for 2011 is to prepare the back garden and install a large dog kennel and run – both Amanda (my partner) and I are avid dog lovers and it’s always been a goal of ours to own a couple of dogs….plus now that we are both able to work from home this will be much easier to do and we won’t have to feel guilty about leaving them unattended while we go to work.
Again, I’ll keep you updated and expect to see lots of cute doggy pictures on here soon.
Now on to the business side of things and the reason why I’ve been so quiet on this blog lately.
Well as regular readers will know, this blog details the different ways I have found of making money online mixed in with some personal posts about life in general and my hobbies and experiences etc.
If you’ve been following me for any length of time you’ll know that I decided to go freelance and work from home in 2010 with my own Virtual Assistant business.
As the business became a success I also decided to create a product showing how to set up and run the exact type of business that I have now and I call it The Guru Buddy System!
I launched the product and had great success selling it and teaching it to others and it was a massive confidence boost to receive so many kind emails and feedback about the course – particularly since 2010 was a very bad year for lousy products being foisted on to the unsuspecting market.
Many new people (newbies) turning to online marketing for an income got seriously short changed last year with some of the crap they purchased but I’m happy to say that I believe that this is a trend that is starting to change as people recognise the value of their email address and are unsubscribing in their droves from the crappy so called guru’s lists.
Of course this makes it all the more difficult for the genuine marketers now as people are becoming a lot more wary and more discerning in their purchases which can only be a good thing.
Incidentally, if you want any tips on how to find a genuine marketer then please download my free report ‘Newbies Beware’ which can be found on this blog.
So 2010 was a bad year for crap products but that’s not to say that there aren’t some really first class courses out there and some really genuine and trustworthy marketers too.
I’m happy to say that I have managed to secure 2 more clients for my own VA business whose products I would happily recommend to my own family – that being one of the personal provisos I have when evaluating products for recommendation.
So this is the reason why I have been absent lately, busy supporting my new clients and actually putting my own Guru Buddy System to the test and using it to grow my income and I can honestly say that I’ve never been happier.
So it’s onwards and upwards for 2011 got some great content planned for this blog so stay tuned folks!
Any of my readers of a certain age may remember a US businessman by the name of Victor Kiam who was very famous around the 70’s and 80’s for the Remmington Shaver adverts.
One advert in particular sticks in my memory, it’s the one where Victor explains that he was so impressed by the performance of the Remmington Shaver he bought the company.
Well….I haven’t gone and purchased a personal grooming company but I have purchased the reseller rights to a pretty cool Internet Marketing course that was released by John Thornhill.
Regular readers of my blog will know how much I admire John and his products, after all, he’s the guy who got me hooked on Internet Marketing in the first place.
All the products I have purchased from John in the past have been of excellent quality and one in particular I still refer back to from time to time if I need to refresh my memory about a particular technique.
This product is a home study course about how you can earn money from PLR products, if you don”t know what PLR is then don’t worry as I’ve made a video for you below which explains everything.

Just a quick video for you today explaining the importance of PC Maintenance and what you can do if your PC seems to be on it’s last legs.
This was prompted by some issues I was having with a laptop of mine which became so slow I could set it a simple task and then go and make myself coffee, biscuits and a sandwich in the time it took to get it done, which was annoying to say the least, and also not very good for my waistline 🙂
Anyway, check out the video where I recommend some great resources that can get your PC running like new again.
You can also find the links to the free stuff at the bottom of the video, oh and by the way…..in the spirit of openess and honesty I should tell you that if you purchase the Registry Easy product through my link I will be credited for a commission……but you wouldn’t hold that against me would you? 🙂

Ok, first of all let me apologise for the rather crude subject matter of this blog post but I felt I had to include it as I find the subject matter fascinating.
As regular readers of my blog will know, I talk about making money but from time to time I also like to talk about methods of saving money no matter how unorthodox they may be.
Also, regular readers will know about my liking for an old UK sit com called the ‘Good Life’ which follows the adventures of a middle aged couple called Tom and Barbara Good and their struggles to achieve a self sufficient lifestyle.
I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of self sufficiency and de-linking from the ‘system’ so to speak and ploughing your own furrow so I was delighted to see a report on the evening news this week about a local council’s plan to run their council vehicles from none other than …..well to put it bluntly…..poo!
Yes you read that right….poo, faeces, human excrement, doo doo, plop, poop and whatever other slang term you can think of.
Now for the science bit….
Human sewage is an abundant resource and the local council have conducted tests on how they can save money on petrol costs by running their industrial vehicles on it.
Now don’t be alarmed, I’m sure some of you are having awful visions of people dropping their pants and delivering said substance directly into the fuel tank…..God what an awful image, but no it doesn’t quite work like that.
The vehicles are actually adapted and made to run on Methane gas which is a bi-product of the sewage and can be gathered and processed from the local water treatment plant. The vehicles tested were able to achieve speeds of over 60 mph and went pretty far on one tank of gas.
I had to smile when I watched this report because the way it was portrayed it was as if it was some brand new invention. In fact this idea has been around for well over 40 years, perhaps even more and I first came across it in an episode of the Good Life when Tom Good decides to disconnect from the national grid and make a home generator which runs on pig sewage.
I’ve included a section of the episode below for you to watch if you’re interested and if you want to watch the following parts of the episode just click on the video to open up YouTube and you can find them there.
You never know, watching this may also give you the self sufficiency bug.
I’ve made a short video for you today which I think everyone will benefit from.
In it I talk about the question that I get asked the most, I also have a little strop about Affiliate Marketing and how 90% of people are doing it wrong….and finally I give you details and a recommendation about a programme I have been using myself for the last few weeks with great results.
You’ll also see me get distracted by something stupid on Google which happened to amuse my simple mind at the time….you’ll see what I mean when you watch the video 🙂

Is that the weirdest blog post heading you ever saw or what?
You may be forgiven for thinking that I’ve had a few too many ales tonight and this is just the ramblings of a drunken fool but stick with me as this promises to get interesting, if a little weird.
Okay, let me start with a slightly strange confession, ever since I can remember I’ve found that the sound of a vacuum cleaner really relaxes me, in fact it relaxes me to the point of making me want to fall asleep. In fact, it’s not just vacuum cleaners but hair dryers too and my all time favourite…the industrial road sweeper which is one of the biggest vacuum cleaners you can get…I never like to do things by halves 🙂
Now hold on, I can see you all now backing away from me and smiling nervously whilst simultaneously reaching for a straight jacket but wait, there is a reasoning behind this.
I have actually looked into this and it’s more common than you might think….no, it is HONESTLY!!
In fact, the English football player Wayne Rooney talks about this ‘quirk’ in his autobiography ‘My Story’ and you can read an article about this at the end of this post.
Now the science bit, apparently, the sound a vacuum cleaner emits is white noise which is very similar to the noise inside a mothers womb and tests have shown that babies find this noise very comforting…..in fact, not just babies but adults too.
It’s the same reason why some people like the sound of rain or a waterfall or any sort of rhythmic repeated noise, it’s very relaxing.
Ok, so I’ve managed to convince you that I’m not actually a candidate for the funny farm but what the heck has this got to do with making money?
Well, as you know, I’m into niche marketing, which is basically selling products in specialised markets and would you believe that there is actually a market for people who want to buy vacuum cleaner CD’s?
Yes it’s true.
Check out this link HERE
Also, check out the Amazon marketplace by typing in ‘white noise CD’s’ and you”ll get lots of results back with people selling everything from vacuum cleaner noise to hair dryer noise, specifically aimed at mothers trying to get their babies off to sleep.
So, can all the marketers among you see the potential yet?
How easy would it be to record a CD of vacuum cleaner noise, package it up into a CD and sell it?
I mean, I would do this myself….if I could stay awake long enough
Wayne Rooney article:
Well I’ve finally finished my latest little side project.
If you remember a few blog posts ago I promised that the next product I created I would be giving away for free….you can read that blog post again to refresh your memory by clicking HERE
Well here is the new book in all it’s glory…
Basically I had to write this book after seeing all the absolute crap that was being released onto the IM market of late.
It really annoys me that so many people are falling for the outlandish claims and just outright lies that these so called ‘Gurus’ are making and I just had to do something about it.
So this book is a short guide giving some good advice on avoiding scams and being ripped off. It also helps to prepare you mentally so that you have the right mindset if you’re thinking of starting an online business.
You can get you copy absolutely free of charge by filling in your details in the pop up form that appears right at the bottom of my blog…..it’s well worth a read and may help to steer you on the right path as well as save you a few tears, heartache and not to mention $$$$$’s
Please let me know what you thought of the book by leaving a comment below.
Bye for now.
I love a good success story and this guys story is absolutely amazing.
Kyle Macdonald had a simple idea to play a trading game online using the online bidding site Craigslist.
It started out a as a bit of laugh when he decided to make his first trade a simple red paperclip.
He then made a series of trades and over the course of a year he ended up with…..wait for it a House!!
I’ve included Kyles story in the video below, I urge you to watch it as it should be an inspiration to anyone wanting to achieve something in their lives.
It’s a truly amazing story….enjoy! 🙂
As you can see, my last few posts have been about the monetary rewards of Internet Marketing where I showed you the scans of my ClickBank cheques.
I actually received yet another only the other day……it’s becoming a bore now….. just kidding, keep em coming 🙂
In all seriousness though, it’s always nice to get the financial rewards for your efforts…well, in fact it’s essential if I want to keep a roof over my head.
But there is also another reason why I’m in this business…
I want to leave behind me a body of work that I can be proud of and what better way to validate that than to receive some really good testimonials.
Now, unlike some of the creeps in this business, when I release a product I don’t just get in touch with my marketing mates or family members to ask them to whip up a phony testimonial to stick on the website.
I go about things properly and ethically. If I go asking for a testimonial I also ask the person reviewing my product to be honest and if they don’t like my product then I ask them to be honest and say so…this might mean I lose out on a testimonial but for me it’s the only way to do business with honesty and integrity.
So, with that in mind I’d like to finish this post with a testimonial that someone sent me form the Warrior Forum…and if you’re familiar with that forum you’ll know what a discerning and shrewd bunch they can be so I really got a big buzz when I received this.
Anyway, the guys name is Ron J Parker Jr (no, not the guy who sang the Ghostbusters theme tune, I bet he’s never heard that one before) and he’s been kind enough to send me a video testimonial.
There are also some others on the Guru Buddy site if you’re interested.
The video below is in HD and may stop and start when playing. If this happens you can simply start the video and then immediately stop it and wait for it to load a little before starting it again.
